Each child's progress is monitored and assessed throughout the year.

Reports and Interviews

Reports on children's progress and interviews for parents/caregivers are held during the year. Parents/caregivers are welcome to make appointments with staff at any time to discuss their children.

Educational Visits

Children learn from first hand experience, and we value the support given by parents to this part of the programme. Visits may include Otago Museum, Art Gallery, Otago Settler's Museum, Discovery World and other places related to theme work.

Information Communication Technology

Each classroom has a computer with Intranet/Internet access.

Library

The library computer has a comprehensive range of books: fiction/nonfiction/reference.
There are two computers in the library, one has online cataloguing and personalised bar codes. The library has a video, fax, scanner, laminator and binder.

Homework

Each class sets out homework requirements and these will be sent home to parents/caregivers.
